The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has redesigned the Illinois Hospital Report Card website with the aim of presenting patient safety and quality of care information in a more user-friendly format. The revamped website includes an updated Illinois Public Health Community Map, with county-level information on health outcomes and access to care across Illinois.

To help connect residents with addiction recovery resources, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb announced the launch of Shatterproof Treatment Atlas. The new tool aims to connect Indiana residents with appropriate addiction treatment and deliver user-friendly information about the quality of available programs.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced that the state’s Division of Motor Vehicles has launched its National Digital Titling Clearinghouse. According to the governor’s office, the clearinghouse is a central location for quick, efficient, and secure title transfers, and the first of its kind in the United States.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is working to close the city’s device gap. Through a partnership with World Business Chicago, the city is launching Chi Device Donation Month. The month-long campaign encourages Chicago’s business community and large organizations to donate computers and laptops no longer in use to be refurbished and given to families who need a device.  

Maryland

Maryland is now the first state in the nation to offer digital licenses and IDs on two major mobile operating systems. The state already offered digital licenses and IDs in Apple Wallet, and announced that it will now offer digital licenses and IDs in Google Wallet.
