Franklin University consolidated approximately 100 separate vendor accounts into a centralized purchasing platform, reducing routine administrative work and giving staff greater visibility into spending, according to Euna Solutions, which provides cloud-based software for procurement, budgeting, payments, and grants management to public sector organizations.

The private university in Columbus, Ohio, uses Euna Marketplace to let departments purchase through a preapproved catalog, according to an Oct. 27 press release. Previously, procurement staff managed routine transactions across disconnected ordering systems that complicated campus delivery coordination and increased administrative workloads.

With Euna Marketplace, the university now has a single point of purchase with guided buying tools.

“Departments now have the freedom to make routine purchases on their own,” said Marcus Rucker, Franklin’s director of purchasing, mail, and print.

In 2025, Franklin placed 266 orders totaling about $56,000 and processed 122 invoices valued at about $573,000 through the marketplace, according to Euna Solutions. Euna Marketplace provides access to 60 suppliers.

Faster procurements allow the university to preserve staff capacity, control purchasing costs, and direct more attention toward work that supports its academic mission and student experience, according to the release.
