California unveiled a refreshed Student Pathways Dashboard on April 16 that adds mobile access, accessibility improvements, faster performance, and a new year of data.
The dashboard, which the state launched last year, helps students to better understand their path to college education. It provides information on key milestones as students navigate from high school to college and into their careers.
“Now more than ever, people need access to trusted information to help them make decisions about their education and careers,” said Mary Ann Bates, executive director at the Office of Cradle-to-Career Data, in a press release.
“Prior to launching Student Pathways, we listened first, then built it. After launching, we continued to listen and make improvements. We’re thrilled to introduce a refreshed tool that delivers on-demand insights and prioritizes accessibility for all Californians,” Bates added.
State officials said Californians have visited the Student Pathways Dashboard nearly 80,000 times since its debut in April 2025.
Six interactive visualizations now load faster and work better with screen readers for users who on assistive technology. The site is also fully accessible on all mobile phones.
“[The] refreshed Student Pathways Data Dashboard makes it easier for more Californians to access useful, easy-to-understand insights that can inform decision-making about education and careers,” the press release said.
