The California Department of Technology (CDT) has released an improved Open Source Portal. By using the portal, developers, government agencies, and the public can collaborate to share ideas and digital tools for solving problems.

The overwhelming majority of states – 73 percent – will struggle to maintain K-12 digital access as key Federal programs supporting those efforts come to a close, according to a new report from the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA).

Kristi Noem, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) secretary, said during her nomination hearing today that she plans to cut back and “refocus” the mission of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) if she is confirmed to lead DHS.

Maryland has launched its United Benefits Screener, an online tool that allows Marylanders to quickly and easily check their eligibility for Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Emergency Assistance, Women Infants and Children (WIC), and Home Energy Assistance Program (OHEP) benefits.
