Anthony is the CISO and Chief Risk Officer at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Technology Services & Security. As the State’s lead IT agency, the executive team is responsible for planning, development, communications and implementation of the Commonwealth’s digital transformation, including enhancing data security, safeguarding privacy, and improving service delivery to the end user.

Anthony is an accomplished attorney having represented Fortune 500 companies from the technology sector in pursuing claims in global antitrust litigation. He focuses his practice on complex disputes, antitrust, information security, data privacy and eDiscovery strategy. During his time at the Commonwealth, Anthony has helped organize the agency’s legal department and build the Commonwealth’s first enterprise eDiscovery program, which provides eDiscovery professional services to all executive branch agencies and independent government agencies in Massachusetts.

In his current role, he is charged with developing, refining, scaling and running the enterprise risk management and security programs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and ensures their operational efficiency. On an ongoing basis, he provides operational risk management for value creation and protection, and serves as an internal advisor to organizational governance and leadership.
